Terms & ConditionsBelow are our terms and conditions, which we’ve put together as simply as possible to make the hiring process smooth and hassle-free.We recommend reading through these terms before booking the equipment.Silent Party Disco Hire (SPDH) reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions from time to time without notice. Any changes will only apply to future bookings and not existing ones. If you’re in the process of booking, we’ll do our best to inform you of any updates. Silent Party Disco (SPDH) Hire ConditionsBy hiring equipment from SPDH, you agree to the following terms and conditions.SPDH undertakes to provide you with the equipment you have requested, in clean and working order, on the dates you have booked. To ensure your event runs smoothly, please check all the equipment upon delivery.You are responsible for all equipment from the time it is delivered to you until it is returned to SPDH. Our equipment—including headphones, stands, lights, transmitters, flight cases, cables, microphones, and mixers—must be stored securely and returned in the same condition as when received.Important:• Do not store equipment in the boot of your car or leave it unattended in a venue, as missing items will result in replacement costs.• Any loss or damage to the equipment will be charged accordingly (see damage costs below). The EquipmentAll SPDH equipment is pre-checked, fully recharged, cleaned, and counted before delivery or collection. If any equipment is missing or not working upon delivery, please contact SPDH immediately.SPDH will not issue a refund if you inform us of a problem only after returning the equipment and our bench test confirms that it was in working order.To assist with setup:• A demo will be provided upon delivery.• A large instruction poster will be attached to the equipment stand for guests.• If in doubt, ask someone tech-savvy for help.In the rare event of a fault, we try to include a couple of spare headsets as a backup. Identification – Driver’s LicenceWe require a current driver’s licence as proof of identity when hiring equipment. The owner of the premises should ideally be the hirer.If we arrive at a location and determine that the equipment may not be securely looked after (e.g., an unsupervised party or Airbnb rental), we reserve the right to refuse the hire. Cancellations• You may modify your booking up to 21 days before the event, subject to availability.• Cancellations within 21 days of the event incur a 50% termination fee of the total payment.• Cancellations within 14 days of the event incur a 100% termination fee of the total payment.• All bonds are fully refunded if the booking is cancelled before equipment is delivered. Damage or Loss – What Will It Cost?We understand that accidents happen, but if any equipment is lost or damaged, you will be liable for the replacement cost as follows:• Headphones – $100 each• Disco light – $150 each• Transmitter – $150 each• Microphone – $100 each• Cable – $15 each• Charger – $65 each• Tripod stand – $150 each• Mixer – $250 each• Flight case – $250 eachCleaning Fees:• $50 per hour for significant cleaning (e.g., headsets covered in party paint, makeup, or glitter).• Any replacement costs will also include postage and reorder fees.💡 Tip: Keep an eye on guests who might be rough with the equipment to avoid unnecessary charges!Damages will be deducted from the bond before it is refunded. Additional Costs• Additional charges apply for missing or excessively dirty equipment.• If debt recovery is required (though we hope it never is!), collection costs will be charged to the client.• The best way to avoid extra fees is to ensure all equipment is well looked after. Delivery & Collection PolicyWe offer delivery and collection services for a fee based on the distance from our storage facility:📍 KeepSafe Storage5 McNeece Place, O’Connor, Perth, WA 6163How to Save on Costs:• Free Option: Collect and return the equipment yourself from KeepSafe Storage.• Paid Option: SPDH can deliver and collect for a standard fee (covers transport, loading, and unloading).Important Information:• Check our website for updated prices – Fees may change.• Agreed delivery & collection times – Ensure someone is available to receive or return the equipment.• Missed appointments – A $20 bond deduction applies if no one is present at the agreed time when our van arrives.For special requests or questions, feel free to contact us. Returning EquipmentTo ensure our equipment remains in top condition, please:✅ Check that all equipment is packed in the original flight cases.✅ Be available on your nominated phone number to arrange collection.✅ Stick to the agreed collection timeframe (additional fees apply for late returns). Booked Orders• All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.• If an order cannot be fulfilled, SPDH will refund the customer in full.• We maintain sufficient stock, but in cases where a previous client fails to return equipment on time, we may need to adjust or extend bookings accordingly. PrivacyWe take your privacy seriously. We only collect essential information needed to complete your booking, including:• Phone number• Email address• A copy of your driver’s licence (for security)🔒 No spam! We will not send promotional emails or marketing messages—just your booking confirmation and invoice receipt.Upon receiving the equipment, you will be required to sign a rental agreement, confirming that you have read and agreed to these terms. Agreement & ConsentI fully consent to the Terms & Conditions above.Signed by the responsible person:🖊 ________________________________________🚨 The person signing is fully responsible for the equipment until it is returned to SPDH.
