Terms, Conditions & Covid Policy.
Below are our terms, conditions and Covid policy, we have put together in hopefully as simply as possible a process as could be arranged. It is advisable to read through these terms & conditions prior to booking the equipment.As a very cool and stress-free company Silent Party Disco Hire reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions from time to time and without notice, but nothing silly or underhand. If we do make a change, we will endeavour to keep you updated if you’re in the process of booking but again changes will only impact upon future bookings not existing ones.
Silent Party Disco (SPDH) Hire Conditions
By agreeing to hire equipment from SPDH, you agree to the following terms and conditions. SPDH undertake to provide you with the equipment you have requested, in clean working order on the specific dates you have booked with us.To ensure your function, event or party is an awesome success, take some time to check all the equipment when it has been delivered. You hopefully will be responsible for all the equipment once it has been delivered to you until it is returned or collected to SPDH.All of our equipment provided including headphones, stands, lights, transmitters, flight cases, cables, microphones and mixers will need to be stored securely and returned in the same condition as they were upon delivery or collecting by you. Please don’t store in the boot of your car or leave unattended in the venue as things tend to walk! Then we are all upset and out of pocket in $’s which is not nice.
The Equipment
SPDH promises that all equipment is pre-checked, fully battery recharged, cleaned with antiseptic wipes and all counted before it is delivered to you, or collected by you. Should any equipment not be packed or working upon delivery, please contact SPDH immediately, so we can assist. SPDH reserves the right to not issue a refund if you tell us on retuning the equipment that something didn’t work. We then bench test it and find oops it does work only you didn’t go to Specsavers or Aunty Jean had too much Sherry Trifle and kept hitting the off button. Don’t worry we will give you a demo on the workings it is simple to use but stress at events and being in a mad hurry tends to create small crisis. We will also have a large poster attached to the equipment stand to show guests how to work the equipment. If in doubt, ask someone very young (at heart) as they are usually the computer experts. But in the horrible event something did go wrong we do try to supply an extra couple of headsets in the unlikely event something goes wrong.
Identification - Driver Licence
Ok I need to know who is taking the equipment and that it will be returned as agreed. You will need a current driver’s licence which we will scan for obvious security reasons. The owner of the premises will be the preferable hire of the equipment. Why do this for example, if we arrive to a house party run by let’s just say someone who is not sober and fails to act or respond like a mature human being then we might just run away particularly if we feel that a house has been rented on Airbnb and the equipment cannot be guaranteed to be looked after or returned to us? Guys we know all the scams so anyone potentially looking for a quick scam we know it all!
Cancellations
You're booking may be changed or varied up to 21 days before your event, provided equipment is available. Cancellation by you within 21 days of an event will incur a 50% termination fee of the total payment made. Cancellation within 14 days of an event will incur a 100% termination fee of the total payment made towards equipment hire. All Bonds are fully refunded if the equipment booking is cancelled.
What If You damage Or Loose Something - What Will It Cost Me?
Damage or loss of equipment – We understand that accidents happen sometimes, however if any headphones, microphones, mixers transmitters, cases or other equipment is lost or damaged making them unusable you will be liable for the replacement cost.
The cost of replacement will be $100 per SDPH headphone, $150 per disco light $150 per transmitter, $100 per microphone, $15 Per cable,$65 per charger.$150 Tripod Stand$250 Mixer$250 Flight Case.
$50 Per Hour for significant cleaning if headsets are covered in party paint, make-up or glitter. All replacements will also have postage and reorder fees attached so please note that all the above charges do carry some basic reordering fee’s. in short be kind to the equipment as we don't want to have to charge people for these things as its all such a negative post a great party.
So have a wonderful party and if someone is acting silly with the equipment be conscientious as they will cause you financial headaches.Damages will be deducted and paid for from the bond prior to the bond being returned.
Additional Costs
Additional costs may be charged for missing equipment or if significant cleaning of equipment or flight cases is required, outside of the usual use. Should as a last resort that a debt recovery be required (and hopefully and gladly it's never happened), collection costs will have to be charged to the client. The best way to avoid any of this unnecessary stress and financial cost is to ensure that you and your guests look after the equipment.
Delivery and Collection - you do it its free.... If we, deliver it costs $.
If we deliver and collect using our van, there is a charge. The charges are as follows and are all calculated from our Storage unit located at Keep Safe Storage 5 McNeece Place O'Connor Perth WA 6163. We use Google Maps to determine distance and time from KeepSafe to your location.
CHECK ON THE WEBSITE FOR UP TO DATE PRICES
To save on your costs you can of course pay nothing if you collect and return your equipment to KeepSafe Storage in O'Connor. If you want us to deliver and collect standard fees apply at time of booking to lift carry and van the equipment to you and then after your party, we do it all over again. Please be aware once you and I agree the delivery and collection time and our lovely van rocks up to your address failure to be present at the agreed delivery/pick-up time will result in a $20 bond deduction. Returning equipment
To ensure that we can continue providing the World with a stunning SPDH disco equipment, we need you to ensure all equipment is checked and packed back into the Silent Party Disco Hire flight cases provided. You will hopefully be contactable on your nominated phone number to arrange collection of equipment. An agreed collection timeframe will be agreed with SPDH when the equipment is booked. If collections are missed, additional hire costs and collection fees may be incurred.
Booked Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. If an order is received that cannot be filled, SPDH will refund the customer in full for that order. However, we do not have any intention to double book as we have adequate supplies of equipment in stock. But if we feel that customers cannot return equipment on time, we might skip the booking or advise that they extend the hire rather than creating any unnecessary stress on all concerned.
Privacy
SPDH takes your privacy very seriously, and we only collect and keep information that you provide to us that is essential in completing and delivering your order. Once we take your phone number, email address and a copy of your driver’s licence when you receive the equipment from us, we will not pester you with mail shots or promotions as we like to be respectful of your need to privacy. So, a guarantee no silly texts or emails from us bar a receipt in the email. So again, Thanks for agreeing to this so when you receive the equipment you will be required to sign this docket which will also be attached to your booking invoice. Signing implies that you have agreed and consent to the terms and conditions.
